Schizophrenia is a mental health problem that is defined by individuals experiencing hallucinations (hearing voices or seeing things that are not present), delusions (false beliefs), and disordered thinking and behavior that affects daily life. People experiencing this interpret reality differently which can be disabling.

Around 20 million people worldwide suffer from schizophrenia.
